5 amazing Miro features for hosting interactive sessions

I'm not sure about you, but #ZoomFatigue is real! Organising an engaging online session is incredibly challenging if you're not sure how to properly involve those you collaborate with. So we're here to help! We're providing you with 5 of the most amazing Miro features to deliver a fun and interactive session using a Miro board. Haven't heard of Miro yet? Today's your lucky day!

Miro Feature #1

Voting

Putting down an emoji on a sticky note or improvising with shapes and colours is a thing of the past! Miro has integrated voting options that support you in effortlessly coming to a group consensus or prioritisation. The rectangular icon with dots in the toolbar below allows you to set up the voting, and assign a number of votes per person. Additionally you can set a timer and select the shapes and figures participants can click on to cast their votes.

Miro Feature #2

Presentation Mode

Miro gives you the opportunity to effortlessly switch between interaction and presentation with its presentation mode. Especially when sharing screens, it might be distracting to see all those colourful cursors flying around. Therefore, you can hide the toolbars and distracting elements when you are in presentation mode to fully capture the attention of all participants.

Miro Feature #3

Wireframing Library

There are so many different wireframing tools out there, it can be challenging to foster collaboration through the use of different tools. Miro integrated its very own wireframing library that makes it incredibly easy to collaborate on prototypes, provide feedback and immediately present the prototype to stakeholders. Use their extensive wireframing library with components and icons and give it your own style, or keep it basic by using a variety of different placeholders.

Miro Feature #4

Unfurl Presentations

Leaving a bunch of comments for feedback in a slidedeck can be a tricky job, especially when the feedback is for the design or formatting. Luckily, you can upload and unfurl your presentation in the Miro environment. This way, you and your team can instantly provide comments and feedback by simply placing a sticky note or pasting an emoji and adjust where necessary.

Miro Feature #5

Bulk mode

Last, but definitely not least is bulk mode. In the middle of an ideation session or simply wanting to pin down a lot of stickies on the board? Go to bulk mode and type in all you need without revisiting the sticky note icon in the toolbar. Extra handy! Additionally, the four dots after selecting your choice of stickies will tidy up your board and keep a nice overview.

Good luck exploring Miro and hosting your awesome session!
